Child vision screening

Resources to support the commissioning and provision of child vision screening.

The UK National Screening Committee recommends vision screening for children aged 4 to 5. Local authorities are responsible for this as part of the healthy child programme.

This collection provides a set of national resources to support the commissioning and delivery of high-quality, consistent services.

For operational queries relating to child vision screening, please contact the local authority or NHS service that commissions child vision screening services in your area. Please note that the UK NSC does not hold this information.
